7. Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. We divide them into three categories. Necessary cookies are always set. Cookies for statistics and marketing are only set if you have consented.

Necessary

  • The PrestaShop cookie (the name starts with "PrestaShop-"): keeps track of your cart, login and language. Stored for 20 days.
  • mcp_consent: stores your cookie choice. Stored for 1 year.
  • PayPal cookies when you pay by card or PayPal: in accordance with PayPal's own cookie policy.

Statistics

If you consent, we use Statcounter to understand how the website is used (visitors, pages and traffic sources). Statcounter sets the cookie sc_is_visitor_unique (2 years, on mc-parts.se) and two cookies from statcounter.com: is_unique (5 years) and is_visitor_unique (Statcounter states no lifetime for it). Browsers may shorten the lifetime of cookies, for example Chrome to at most 400 days. Information about your visit, including IP address, browser and the pages you view, is sent to Statcounter. The provider is StatCounter (Ireland). The data may be processed outside the EU/EEA, in which case the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards under the GDPR. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw your consent at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. We then stop loading Statcounter and delete sc_is_visitor_unique. You delete cookies from statcounter.com in your browser.

Marketing

We do not currently use any cookies for marketing. If we start using such cookies, we will ask for your consent first.

Change your choice

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete cookies in your browser.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The latest version is always available on this page.
